藝術家 林宣余
1963年出生，台灣台中人，東海大學美術研究所膠彩碩士，僑光科技大學講師．她是專職畫家，以膠彩畫為主要創作類型，曾榮獲許多重要美展獎項，如台中縣美展、大墩美展、全省美展、陳進文化獎、台陽美展、全國美展等，亦積極舉辦個展並參與國際藝術交流。其作品融合古典詩意與現代優雅，意象豐富，情感的表現極為細膩，是台灣中生代女畫家中，在自我風格營造方面極為優秀的一位。

About Lin Xuan-Yu
Born in 1963, lives and works in Taichung, Taiwan now. Lin has a master degree of Fine Arts by Tunghai University, and has worked as an art teacher at Qiaoguang University. She is now a full-time artist. She uses mineral colors mixed with gelatin to create her works, a technic based on the old tradition of eastern Asia, also called as Nihongga in Japan and Mineral Paintings in China. She has won many important art awards, such as Taichung County Art Award, Dadun Art Award, Provincial Art Award, Chen Jin Cultural Award, Taiyang Art Award, National Art Award, etc. and has held many solo exhibitions as to participate in many international art projects. Her works present a kind of classical aesthetic which also has the elegance of modern time. The extremely delicate emotional expressions characterizes the style of her works.
